Some 38% of building and installation works have been so far done at the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP), Belarusian Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk told reporters at the AtomExpo in Minsk. “More than 38% of building and installation works have already been implemented. Ahead is assembling and commissioning operations. It is also a big part of work,” noted the deputy minister. First Deputy CEO for Operations Management at Rosatom Alexander Lokshin noted that “discipline and experience are of utmost importance in construction”. He stressed that the Belarusian nuclear power plant is viewed as Rosatom's exemplary construction project.
Once commissioned the Belarusian nuclear power plant will mainly work for the domestic market.
