Eurasian Economic Commission in favor of tighter cooperation with ASEAN

         The Eurasian Economic Commission is in favor of tighter cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The statement was made by Tigran Sarkisyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, during the plenary session of the business forum recently held in Sochi to discuss business opportunities in Russia-ASEAN partnership, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reported.
         The Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission underlined that realizing the economic growth potential is the key purpose of regional integration. More favorable conditions for doing business emerge when barriers are removed and unified trade standards and regulations are applied, the official pointed out.
