The Union State is unparalleled today, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview to the Belarus One TV Channel.
“The Union State is beyond competition today. It remains relevant,” the Ambassador said. According to the diplomat, the Eurasian Economic Union can not fully replace the Union State.
Alexander Surikov said that working in Belarus is special due to the fact that this is a post-Soviet state which makes part of the Union State. “It is the most advanced formation in economic, political, military and technical areas in the post-Soviet space. There are few such advanced formations in the world,” he stressed.
