Belarus and Slovenia are considering the possibility of building energy installations together in third countries, BelTA quotes Belarusian Energy Minister Vladimir Potupchik as the Slovenian-built power substation Staroborisovskaya was opened in Minsk. Janez Skrabec, CEO of the Slovenian company Riko that built the power substation, said that Riko is ready to work together with Belarus to export services to Azerbaijan and Iran. He also said he believes that the investment climate in Belarus will improve and will attract other European investors to the country. “Belarus is at the crossroads between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union. I think it will give an impulse to the Belarusian-European dialogue,” the Riko CEO pointed out.
